Leading vehicle tracking company Quartix is to exhibit at the ITT Hub’s event on 13 – 14 May at the Farnborough International Conference & Exhibition Centre. As a Freight Transport Association (FTA) Gold Partner, Quartix is also the chosen vehicle tracking supplier to track the test drive vehicles at the two-day event. The tracking system will be installed in all vehicles at the ‘Ride and Drive’ facility as well as the event’s railway station shuttle buses.
ITT Hub 2020 is a truly forward-thinking event which comes at a time when the transport industry is facing rapid change and pressure to overcome several challenges, such as the demands of air quality, finite road space and energy efficiency. With innovation and technology being common denominators, ITT Hub 2020 will bring together a broad range of leading suppliers, users and enablers of low carbon vehicles, in a cost-effective, flexible and unique way.
As well as exhibiting at ITT Hub 2020, Quartix’s vehicle tracking system will be on display, demonstrating the valuable features for fleet managers, such as driving style analysis, route maps and live location of vehicles. Any drivers taking part in the ‘Ride and Drive’ will be able to chat to members of the Quartix team about their driving style throughout the experience.
“We’re excited to be part of such an innovative and interactive event,” says Sean Maher, Head of UK Sales at Quartix. “ITT Hub 2020 will be a fantastic platform for us to demonstrate the Quartix system and promote the ways that vehicle tracking can reduce emissions, reduce costs and make fleets safer out on the roads.”
The Quartix system will also track the bus services to and from the railway station, letting attendees see how far away the buses are at any point in time.
